Welcome to the new JBxHosting website!

Thanks for visiting. First of all, may I apologise for the current lack of content on the site and also for any low quality or watermarked images you may find. I started work on this new version of my site on November 14th and hope to have it complete very soon. In the meantime, I'm still playing with template ideas and you may see things move around, appear or disappear on a regular basis. If you have any comments on anything you see, then please let me know.

I'm building this site using the Joomla CMS. I've long been a fan of Joomla, because when customers tell me that they want to be able to update their websites themselves, it does just that! Very few other CMS systems come close to Joomla in terms of flexibility, stability, or ease of use. However, that's not to say it isn't without fault. One of my main concern is the liberal use of tables for laying out content. I'm told that this is currently being addressed for a future release, but that doesn't help me right now! So I made the decision to build my own website using Joomla and start to dig much further under the skin. Over the coming days, I hope to remove all sign of tables from the code of this site unless they have a valid use (i.e. displaying tabular data!). I'll update this article to let you know how I get on...
